Contrelement is an elemental based tower defense game made in 72 hours for the Geta Game Jam 9. The theme for this game jam was "Contrasting Elements" , and the goal of the game is to protect
yourself from incoming elemental enemies. Spawning the minions of the opposing element give an advantage, and destroying all of the enemy spawning portals completes the level.
Contrelement was a team game jam that we completed during the summer break, and due to having a team of 4 we were able to complete a relatively polished project. So much so that we placed 5th out of the 33 submissions! As with many game jams, there weren't
any defined roles during the development, however the tasks I completed focused on general User Experience. This meant I made things like camera shake, particle effects, and creating all audio assets.
